Lisa Anderson is a Community Program Manager at Microsoft responsible for leading Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professionals (https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-US/Overview) and Regional Directors for the Central Region of the United States. Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, or MVPs, are technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community. They are thought leaders and always on the cutting-edge of technology. Lisa brings her passion for community leadership and talent development to her role as a Community Program Manager, and loves seeking fresh, diverse talent to join the community. In her previous role as a Technical Account Manager at Microsoft, Lisa managed the Microsoft Enterprise Services relationship with customers – aiding them in support delivery and deployment of new Microsoft cloud and on-premises solutions. Throughout her career, Lisa has combined her background and passion for psychology and has utilized her skills and knowledge of the field to help people in the tech industry do their best work and lead their most fulfilling and balanced lives. This passion has been the catalyst to the creation of her talk at TechnologyHUB Conference in Appleton, WI titled “Tech Happy: Hacking Positive Communities.” Lisa aims to combine principles of positive psychology to help people lead effectively and with positivity. In addition to her talk at TechnologyHUB conference, Lisa led two Open Spaces discussions on “How to Become a Microsoft MVP” at That Conference in the Wisconsin Dells, WI. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling the world, cooking, exploring food culture in new places, yoga, and napping with cats.
